Zohra Tajuddin dies

DHAKA, Dec. 20 (NsNewsWire) — Syeda Zohra Tajuddin, Presidium member of Awami League and wife of the country’s first prime minister Tajuddin Ahmad, passed away at a city hospital Friday morning. She was 81.

Zohra, breathed her last at 10:37 am at the United Hospital, hospital sources said.

She is survived by 3 daughters Sharmin Ahmad (Reepi), Simeen Hussain (Rimi), Mahjabin Ahmad (Mimi) and only son Tanjim Ahmad (Sohel Taj).

Her namaz-e-janaza was be held at Gulshan Azad Mosque after Asr prayers, family sources said.

She will be buried at Banani graveyard on Sunday.
