UN combats Bangladesh’s leading cause of child deaths: Drowning

For the first time in its history, the United Nations is trying to curb drownings in Bangladesh, which are the leading cause of child deaths in the country.

Everyday 46 people drown – most of them children – but UN officials hope raising awareness will change that.
