Telcos working to keep mobile networks stable amid bad weather

Dhaka, Oct. 22 (NsNewsWire) —  The following is the full and unedited text of a statement which Association of Mobile Telecom Operators of Bangladesh (AMTOB) in Dhaka sent on Sunday afternoon:

“The persisting bad weather has caused electricity disruption in many parts of the country, which is also affecting the network of all the telecom operators. As a result, some subscribers may be affected for the time being.
Telecom operators are working together to solve the problem quickly and ensure uninterrupted network connection to our subscribers. On behalf of all operators, we apologize for the unintentional and temporary inconvenience.”
