DHAKA, March 29 (NsNewsWire) —  Spanish Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Ignacio Ybáñez Rubio arrived in Dhaka early  Sunday to further strengthen and rejuvenate the existing bilateral relations between the countries.

Hours after arriving in the Bangladesh capital Dhaka Ybanez Rubio held bilateral talks with the Bangladeshi Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali on Sunday afternoon .

Prior to meeting Ali, he also held meeting with the Bangladeshi State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam on Sunday morning.

During the meetings, diplomatic sources said, they discussed entire gamut of bilateral relations special in the areas of trade, commerce and investment.

They said the first ever visit of such a high ranking official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain to Bangladesh aimed at mainly bolstering bilateral relations between Dhaka and Madrid.

According to a social media post of the embassy of Spain in Bangladesh,  Rubio and his delegation will have meetings with a wide range of authorities and stakeholders in order to explore ways to nourish and expand the blooming bilateral relation between Spain and Bangladesh.  Enditem
