Slain Bangladeshi blogger’s publisher hacked to death

DHAKA, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) — Slain Bangladeshi blogger Avijit Roy’s publisher Faisal Arefin Dipan was hacked to death in capital Dhaka on Saturday hours after unidentified attackers stabbed three persons including another publisher of Roy.
A Dhaka Metropolitan Police official who preferred to be unnamed said Dipan, proprietor of the Jagriti Publishing House, was hacked to death Saturday night on the second floor of central Dhaka‘s Aziz Supermarket.
No group has claimed responsibility for killing Dipan.
Roy, an American of Bangladeshi origin and critic of religious militancy, was killed by machete-wielding assailants in Dhaka in February.  Enditem
