Secretary of India’s Ministry of External Affairs to visit Bangladesh
DHAKA, April 2 (NsNewsWire) — Sujata Mehta, Secretary (Multilateral & Economic Relations), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, will be visiting Bangladesh from April 5-7, 2015 to review and discuss the ongoing India-Bangladesh development partnership and economic cooperation, as well as ways to strengthen and deepen it further.
She will be accompanied by Mr Alok Kumar Sinha, Joint Secretary (Development Partnership Administration) and Ms Sripriya Ranganathan, Joint Secretary (Bangladesh and Myanmar), said a statement of the Indian High Commission in Dhaka on Thursday.
Ms Mehta is the seniormost official dealing with multilateral and development cooperation issues in India’s External Affairs Ministry.
During her visit, Ms Mehta is expected to call on different Ministers and hold discussions with Senior Secretary, Economic Relations Division, Ministry of Finance, Mr. Mohammed Mejbahuddin. Enditem
