Scores of Bangladesh opposition leaders, activists arrested

DHAkA, Oct. 25 (NsNewsWire) — Scores of leaders and activists of ex-Prime Minister Khaleda Zia’s opposition party have been arrested in capital Dhaka on Saturday morning.
“We’ve detained 64 leaders and activists of Bangladesh Nationalist party (BNP),” said a police official who preferred to be unnamed.
HE said the BNP men were planning to carry out sabotage during (tomorrow) Sunday’s nationwide strike of a coalition of Islamist parties.
