Samsung Inaugurated its 2nd Customer Service Centre in Chittagong
DHAKA, Feb. 18 (NsNewsWire) — Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd Bangladesh has inaugurated their 2nd service centre in the
port city, Chittagong. This service centre will provide after sales support for all Samsung products.
The centre was inaugurated by Mr. Seungwon Youn, Managing Director of Samsung Electronics Bangladesh who
cut the ribbon and officially launched the Customer Service Centre. Also present in this event were Mr. Tanveer
Shahed, Head of Customer Service, Mr. Hasan Mehdi, Head of Mobile Devices , Samsung; Mr. Md. Zahirul Islam,
Managing Director, Smart Technologies Ltd; Mr. Ruhul Alam Al Mahbub, Managing Director, FDL and Mr. Syed
Syedis Sakalayen ,CEO, Excel Telecom Pvt Ltd. In his message the MD informed, ‘Samsung intends to offer the best
in class after sales service exclusively for Samsung customers. From now onwards, the Samsung customers residing
in the second largest city of Bangladesh, Chittagong, can receive the after sales service for mobile handsets and
other home appliances in same premises.’
The new service centre for Mobile devices, consumer electronics & IT products is located at 1st floor of Yahya
Tower, Lalkhan Bazar. The 2,000 sq. ft. centre is designed in accordance with Samsung’s global standards. The
centre will operate every day except for Fridays. The other service centre in Chittagong, located at 5th floor of
Akhtaruzzaman Centre, Agrabad will remain open every day expect Sundays. Thus Chittagong customers will
receive services of 7 days a week from Samsung.
At the end of the last month Samsung also launched three Service Centres at Gazipur, Dinajpur and Kushtia and a
repair zone for CE & IT products in Sadar Road, Moakhali, Dhaka. Samsung now has 35 service centres and 32
collection points nationwide for device after sales service.
