Robi settles insurance claim

DHAKA, Dec. 30 (NsNewsWire) — Mobile phone operator Robi Axiata Limited has settled a subscriber’s insurance claim in Mymensingh. Robi subscribers Md. Liton Miah received a cheque from Sayed Ashraf Uddin, Regional Manager, Mymensingh recently.

The cheque was handed over at Regional Robi Seba office, Harun Tower, Mymensingh. Azizul Haque, a Robi BIMA client, died on 01 June, 2013. He nominated Md. Liton Miah, his son, as nominee of the insurance. Robi handed over BDT 28,000 as per the insurance rule.

Robi offered life insurance facility for its prepaid subscribers last year. Subscribers can be registered for this service by dialing *1216*1# or by cooperation of Milvik agent. A fixed amount will be deposited in the particular account by using minimum BDT 250 talk time. All prepaid subscribers aging 18-60 can avail the opportunity.
