Robi- 10 Minute School wins prestigious Glomo Awards 2017 at the Mobile World Congress
DHAKA, April 3 (NsNewsWire) — Robi-10 Minute School has recently won a GSMA Glomo award for the Best Mobile Innovation for Education and Learning in the “Connected Life Awards” category at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. The announcement came during this year’s MWC – the world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry recently held in Barcelona. Robi’s Managing Director and CEO, Mahtab Uddin Ahmed received the award on behalf of Robi at the MWC organised by the GSMA.
According to the judges, this mEducation initiative stood out for the scale and speed of adoption among all the other contenders for the award. They also felt that the Robi-10 Minute School was a very timely and critical endeavour that leverages on the leap of power of mobile. The other nominees in this category were Ooredoo Maldives for Ooredoo Smart Campus, PHD Media for Rin Career Ready Academy, Smart Communications for Batibot App, and Turkcell for Turkcell Academy Corporate LMS.
