NsNewsWire inks news-photo service agreement with Xinhua
DHAKA, Dec. 8 (NsNewsWire) — Bangladesh’s first press news agency– NsNewsWire — has signed a news and photo service agreement with Xinhua News Agency, the largest official news agency in the People’s Republic of China.
Sheuli Akter, editor of NsNewsWire, and Liu Chuntao, Dhaka Bureau chief of Xinhua News Agency, signed the agreement on Thursday at Xinhua News Agency’s Dhaka Bureau office in the city’s Baridhara diplomatic area on behalf of their respective sides.
As per the long term agreement, NsNewsWire will enjoy the right to use the Xinhua News Agency’s news and photo service.
Naim-Ul-Karim, special correspondent and in-charge, Shariful Islam, photojournalist, and Syed Zainul Abedin, video journalist, of Xinhua News Agency’s Dhaka Bureau office, among others, attended the agreement signing ceremony.
Under the agreement, NsNewsWire and Xinhua will also cooperate with each-other on national and international news coverage and content development issues on mutually agreed terms and conditions.
