Newly-appointed BTRC chairman held meeting with TRNB members

DHAKA, Nov. 9  (NsNewsWire) — The newly appointed Chairman of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) Dr. Shahjahan Mahmood Monday held a meeting with the members of the Telecom Reporters’ Network of Bangladesh (TRNB) at his office in the city.

At the outset of the meeting, the BTRC chief was greeted with a flower bouquet by Rased Mehedi, acting president, and  Sajal Zahid Islam, general secretary,  of TRNB.

Apart from other TRNB high-ups and its members, Brigadier General Md Ahsan Habib Khan (retd), vice chairman, A K M Sahiduzzaman, director general (legal and licensing), Sarwar Alam, secretary, and Samiul khan Zakir, assistant director (public relation), of BTRC, among others, were present in the meeting.

The participants of the meeting held a productive exchange of views on the entire gamut of telecommunications activities in Bangladesh.

TRNB is the organization that is operating as the network of journalists who specially focus on entire gamut of activities of the South Asian country’s booming telecom industry. The focus of organization work is the enhancement of professionalism and journalist standards and the media freedom.
