Myanmar, Bangladesh hold meetings on Rohingyas issue
Nay Pyi Taw, Nov. 23 (NsNewsWire) — At the invitation of U Kyaw Tint Swe, Union Minister for the Office of the State Counsellor, the Bangladesh delegation led by H.E. Mr. Abdul Hassan Mahmood Ali, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has begun an official visit to Myanmar yesterday, after attending the 13th ASEM Foreign Ministers’Meeting.
During the visit, Union Minister for the Office of the State Counsellor and the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh cochaired the Ministerial Meeting at the Ministry of the Office of the State Counsellor on 22 November 2017 at 1330 hrs. Prior to this, the Senior Officials Meeting co-chaired by U Myint Thu, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar and Mr. Md. Shahidul Haque, Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh was convened at the same Ministry at 0930 hrs. U Kyaw Tint Swe, Union Minister for the Office of the State Counsellor, hosted a dinner at 1900 hrs in honour of visiting Foreign Minister of Bangladesh at Shwe San Eain Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw.
