Laila Hossain, journalist Ekram Kabir’s mother, dies at 71

DHAKA, Dec. 18 (NsNewswire) — Laila Hossain, Mother of eminent journalist Md. Ekram Kabir, (Currently Vice President –Communications and Corporate Responsibility, Robi Axiata Limited) has passed away at around 6 am on Dec. 18, 2016.

Inna Lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. She was 71.

She left behind husband, two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers. Her Namaz-e-Janaza was held after Maghrib prayer at Eastern Banasree apartment mosque. She was laid to rest at Banani graveyard on the same day.
