Joint Announcement of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Visit to India

 DHAKA, March 14 (NsNewsWire) — Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will make a state visit to India in April.
Bangladesh’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tuesday released the following joint statement on the prime minister’s India visit : 
 “Her Excellency Sheikh Hasina, Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh, will be visiting
India on a State visit from 07-10 April 2017 on an invitation extended by Hon’ble Prime Minister
of India His Excellency Shri Narendra Modi. The two leaders will hold official talks in New
Delhi on April 8.
This visit comes 7 years after Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s last visit to India
in January 2010 and almost 2 years after Hon’ble Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Bangladesh in
June 2015.
The upcoming visit is expected to further expand the cordial and cooperative relationship
between India and Bangladesh and build on the strong ties of friendship and trust between the
two leaders.”
