Indonesia, Switzerland plan to cooperate in producing vaccines
JAKARTA, May 24 (Xinhua) — Indonesia and Switzerland plan to cooperate in manufacturing vaccines and drugs, a statement from Indonesia’s Health Ministry said here on Wednesday.
Indonesian Health Minister Nila F. Moeloek met with her Swiss counterpart Alain Berset in Geneva on the sidelines of the 70th World Health Assembly meeting in Geneva.
Both of them saw that the two nations have high potentials to develop cooperation in the health sector.
The government of Switzerland will support Indonesia to fight the neglected tropical diseases, including malaria and leprosy, and combat drug abuse as Switzerland has a successful experience in fighting such danger, said Berset.
