Indian PM to visit Bangladesh next week
DHAKA, May 27 (NsNewsWire) — Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make a two-day visit to Bangladesh on June 6.
During the visit, Modi and his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina are expected to discuss bilateral relations.
A number of deals, including a much-anticipated land boundary one, are likely to be signed, reports Xinhua.
Many issues, including the sharing of waters of a key river, will also be discussed.
Diplomatic sources said Bangladesh expected 2 billion U.S. dollars in a fresh loan from India to implement infrastructure projects between the two side
