India, Bangladesh to intensify Health Cooperation

DHAKA, Feb. 25 (NsNewsWire) — The 1st meeting of the Joint Working Group (JWG) on Health Cooperation is to be held in New Delhi from February 26-27, 2014. The JWG on Health Cooperation was established as follow up to the discussion of Prime Ministers of India and Bangladesh to set up a programme for training of Bangladesh doctors in premier Indian medical institutes as reflected in the Joint Statement released on the occasion of the visit of Dr. Man Mohan Singh to Bangladesh in September 2011. The Joint Working Group on Health Cooperation will discuss exchange of visits, development of human resources for health, cross border health issues etc. The visiting delegation from Bangladesh will also visit several health related institutions and organization during the visit.
