India agrees to upgrade Bangladesh Visa Office in Agartala

DHAKA, Nov. 14 (NsNewsWire) –The Indian government has conveyed its concurrence to the upgradation of the Bangladesh Visa Office in Agartala to an Assistant High Commission.
This is in response to a request made by Bangladesh, Indian High Commission in Dhaka said in a statement on Friday.
India’s decision to do so is in keeping with the existing friendly relations between the two countries and will further strengthen Bangladesh’s diplomatic representation in India.
