Horticultural exposition is set to begin on Thursday

KHULNA, Feb. 28 (NsNewsWire) — A three-phase horticultural exposition is set to begin on Thursday, March 1, 2018, in three different districts with a view to enriching farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs with the knowledge of latest agricultural technologies, innovation and environment friendly practices.

Crosswalk Communications is organizing the fairs with the support of United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Department of Agricultural Extension(DAE). ACI Agribusinesses is the title sponsor of this event. Dr. F. H. In Khulna, the fair will be held in Dumuria Shadhinota field on March 1 and 2, 2018. Mohammad Ashek Hasan, UpazilaNirbahi Officer and Executive Magistrate of Dumuria, Khulna, will inaugurate the ceremony at 10 AM. Nazrul Islam, Upazilla Krishi Officer of Dumuria will attend the ceremony as special guest. Md. khan Ali Monsur, Chairman of Dumuria Upazilla, Gazi Md. Humayun Kabir Bulu, Chairman of 11 no. Dumuria Union Parishad and Md. Mostofa Sarwar, Chairman of 13 no. Gutudiya Union Parishad will be present as guests in the closing ceremony of the fair in Khulna.

In Jhenaidah, two day long fair will be held on 5 and 6 March in Kalicharan Union Parishad field of Kaliganj while three day long fair will be held in Taora Primary school field of Godkhali in Jessore from 9 to 11 March. The fair will remain open for all from 10 AM to 7 PM.Cultural Show by local artists and a raffle draw will be held for the visitors.
