Grameenphone launches mobile application for Star Customers

DHAKA, Dec. 19 (NsNewsWire) — Grameenphone launched a mobile application (app) for its Star Customers, which will enable them to avail several services online.
ICT Secretary N.I. Khan was present as the Chief Guest of the launching ceremony. Rajeeb Bhattacharjee, Head of Marketing, Kashif Baig, Head of Customer Experience and Ashraf Abir, CEO, MCC Ltd. and other officials of Grameenphone were also present on the occasion.
The app will help the Star customers of Grameenphone using smart phones to refill their mobile accounts. Account recharge through app is first of its kind facility in Bangladesh. Apart from that they will be able set appointment for customer services and register for Star events periodically arranged by Grameenphone. Information on Star Partner offers and location on partner stores, restaurants, ATM booths, and nearest police stations will be provided through this app. Moreover there will be QR code scanner built-in with this app. The app can be used on Android, Iphone and Windows Phones and available in major app markets like Google Play, App Store and Windows Store.
