Fire Safety & Security Expo will be held on 13th February 2020

7th edition of the country’s largest expo in the fire safety and security sector International Fire Safety &
Security Expo (IFSSE) 202 will be held from 13thto 15th February 2020, organizing by Electronics Safety
and Security Association of Bangladesh (ESSAB) and in association with Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil
Defense at the BICC (Bangabandhu International Convention Center, Agargaon, Dhaka). Over the last
years, this international expo has shown substantial growth and development, so this year organizer is
prone to make it bigger and better.
Launching ceremony was held in Crystal Ballroom, Intercontinental Dhaka in November 9, 2019
organizer inform that this year associate partners are BGMEA, BTMEA, Bangladesh Computer Samity
(BCS) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), USA. Beside that the expo is also supported by
FBCCI & BASIS. In the launching ceremony Director General of Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense
Brigadier General Md.Sazzad Hussain,ndc, afwc, psc, Mphil and President of Federation of Bangladesh
Chambers of Commerce & Industries (FBCCI) Mr. Sheikh FazleFahim were present as a special guest.
Electronics Safety and Security Association of Bangladesh (ESSAB) president Md. Motaher hoshen khan
said, In 2019 we experienced more than 8,000 visitors and in 2020 we are expecting more than 10,000
visitors in this international show. There would be four specially designed technicalseminars, trade
exhibition, round-table discussions with government stakeholders, an award ceremony and a gala
dinner. Hundreds of companies from more than 25 countries including USA, Canada, United Kingdom,
Europe, Middle East, India, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia are participating this year. The key display
sectors areFire Protection System, Fire Detection System, CCTV and Video Surveillance System,
Building Management System, Access Control System, Public Address System, Rescue and Disaster
Management.
Zakir Uddin Ahmed, Convener (IFSSE 2020) & Publicity Secretary said, This 3 days long event is a great
platform to exhibit latest technologies, products, networking and also for the end users to get
awareness, competitive products and meet suitable suppliers. Our main objective is to make bridge
between end users and manufacturers and by this way fire safety and security products and services will
be more available in market, ultimately the country will be more safe and protected from fire and
security hazards. On the other hand, this expo will ensure social awareness too. We are hopeful and
meanwhile getting a very good feedback from our local and international manufacturers, traders and
