Natore bus accident: Death toll climbs to 33

Natore, Oct. 21 (NsNewswire) — The death toll from Monday’s bus accident in Bangladesh’s Natore district, some 210 km west of capital Dhaka, climbed to 33.
Dozens of others are still being treated for injuries, said the district’s police chief Bashudev Bonik.
He said 12 bus passengers died from their injuries Tuesday night.
“21 passengers were killed on the spot,” he added.
He said several other of the injured still remained in critical condition. The accident occurred on Monday afternoon when one of the buses crossed the center divider of the road and plowed into the another.
