Dollar changes hands in mid-112 yen range in early trade in Tokyo
TOKYO, March 21 (Xinhua) — The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-112 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Tuesday, largely in line with levels seen overnight in New York.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 112.57-58 yen compared with 112.50-60 yen in New York.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0737-0737 dollars and 120.86-88 yen against 1.0735-0745 dollars and 120.80-90 yen in New York.
Markets in Tokyo were closed on Monday for a national holiday.
