Chinese FM reaches Dhaka
DHAKA, Dec. 27 (NsNewsWire) — Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived in Dhaka on Saturday on a three-day official visit.
Wang Yi , who is vising Bangladesh at the invitation of his Bangladesh counterpart AH Mahmood Ali, reached Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in capital Dahka at about 6.50 p.m. (local time) on Saturday.
Bangladeshi Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali received him at the airport.
Yi, leading an 11-member delegation, came on Saturday from Kathmandu.
During his stay in Dhaka, Wang Yi will hold bilateral talks with Foreign Minister Mahmood Ali on Sunday when the entire gamut of bilateral issues, including trade related matters and Chinese cooperation in Bangladesh’s important sectors, is expected to come across the table.
They are also scheduled to discuss the programs to jointly celebrate the 40th anniversary of establishment of Dhaka-Beijing diplomatic relations in 2015.
