Bomb hurled at Bangladeshi law minister’s house
DHAKA, Jan. 10 (NsNewsWire) — Miscreants have hurled bomb at the house of the Bangladeshi Law Minister Anisul Huq’s house in capital Dhaka on Friday night.
A security personnel was slightly injured in the bomb blast that took place around 8:00 p.m. local time, said a Dhaka Metropolitan Police office who preferred to be unnamed.
The minister was not inside the house during the attack.
He said the miscreants fled the scene after hurling the bomb at the minister’s residence in Dhaka’s diplomatic enclave Banani.
On Thursday miscreants torched the village house of a High Court (HC) judge while two crude bombs were hurled at the residence of another HC judge in the capital city.
Bombs were hurled following an HC order upon the government to prohibit media coverage for ex-Prime Minister Khaleda Zia’s son Tarique Rahman, who is senior vice-chairman of Khaleda’s Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) which enforced countrywide non-stop blockade on Tuesday morning.
