BNP calls another 72-hour strike
DHAKA, Feb. 14 (NsNewsWire) — Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has called another 72-hour nationwide strike form Sunday morning.
BNP Spokesperson Salahuddin Ahmed made the announcement of latest strike through a press release on Saturday.
Salauddin Ahmed, a BNP joint secretary general, said the 72-hour strike will start at 6:00 a.m. local time Sunday and will continue till 6:00 a.m. local time Wednesday.

BNP and its allies has observed a five-day strike from last Sunday morning amid its ongoing blockade campaign that entered 39th day on Saturday.
The parties have been observing strike on top of its blockade at regular intervals since last month demanding fresh parliament polls under the non-party caretaker government system.
