Blue economy ministerial conference slated for Sept. 5 in Dhaka

DHAKA, Sept. 2 (NsNewsWire) — Bangladesh will hold the 3rd Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Blue Economy Ministerial Conference here on Sept. 5, aimed at promoting smart, sustainable and inclusive growth and employment opportunities in the blue economy activities along the Indian Ocean belt, reports Xinhua.
   The conference will be preceded by a working session to be held on Sept. 4, to discuss the means and ways to strengthen blue economy implementation.
   Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is likely to inaugurate the conference which foreign ministers of Australia, Iran and Sri Lanka will reportedly attend.  Enditem
