Bangladesh’s parliament polls on Jan. 5
DHAKA, Nov. 25 (nsnewswire) — Bangladesh’s Election Commission (EC) has fixed date for the country’s 10th parliament polls, sources said Monday.
“Elections will likely be held on January 5,” an EC official told nsnewswire.
The official who preferred to be unnamed said chief election commissioner is all set to announce the date of the elections Monday evening while addressing to the nation through state-run television and radio.
He said that all required preparations for recording his speech which is expected to be aired at 7:30 p.m. has already been completed.
