Bangladesh’s active mobile subscriber base reaches 118.932 mln

DHAKA, Nov. 27 (NsNewsWire) — The total number of Bangladesh cell phone users reached 118.932 million at the end of October this year, official data showed Thursday.
According to Bangladesh’s Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), the number of subscribers of the country’s six cell phone operators — Grameenphone, Banglalink, Robi, Airtel, Citycell, Teletalk — at the end of October stood at 50.713 million, 30.498 million, 25.141 million, 7.466 million, 1.329 million and 3.785 million, respectively.
The total number of Bangladesh’s mobile phone subscribers reached nearly 113.78 million at the end of December 2013, showed the BTRC data. Enditem
