Bangladesh opposition’s student wing spokesman Abdus Satter Patuary detained

DHAKA, Feb. 10 (NsNewsWire) — The Detective Branch of Bangladesh Police have detained a top spokesman of ex-Prime Minister Khaleda Zia’s Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) student wing  on Tuesday evening in capital Dhaka.

Abdus Satter Patuary, office secretary of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (student–wing of  BNP), will be produced before a court Wednesday,  said a DB official who preferred to be unnamed.

No further details about the arrest were immediately available.
