Bangladesh earns over 12 bln USD from exports in July-November

DHAKA, Dec. 8 (NsNewsWire) — Bangladesh’s export income in the first five months of the current 2014-15 fiscal year (July 2014 to June 2015) grew a meager 0.92 percent to 12.07 billion U.S. dollars.
An Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) official said export performance in November was 2.417 billion U.S. dollars, nearly 10 percent up compared with the same period of last fiscal year.
Bangladesh fetched 9,691 million U.S. dollars from exports in five months of the current fiscal, said the official who did not like to be named.
