Augere announces plans for LTE upgrade and host of services for enterprise customers
DHAKA, July 9 (NsNewsWire) — Augere Wireless Broadband Bangladesh Limited (AWBBL) (popularly known as Qubee) has been a leading Internet Broadband Service Provider in Bangladesh since 2009. Today (Monday), the company announced its plans to launch their LTE (4G) Services in Bangladesh and eventually provide coverage all over the country.
The broadband internet service organization commenced their journey from 2009 riding on WiMax technology to provide fast and wireless internet facility. Over a period of time, the services offered by Qubee have gained the attention of the consumers. However, the obsolescence of the WiMax technology and emergence of other alternatives in the recent times, have seen customers opting for the latter.
Refuting all speculations about the company, Proteek Kundu, Chief Commercial Officer, AWBBL, said “AWBBL is in the process of upgrading its network to LTE. We have already launched our LTE services in Bogra and Narayanganj and very soon we plan to cover the whole country with our LTE Services.”
In addition to this, AWBBL continues its focus on its B2B Business, catering to the telecom requirements of its Enterprise customers. Over the last few months, the company has strengthened its product portfolio and is now ready to cater to almost any requirement of an Enterprise customer. “Riding on our Superior Service Levels, we cater to some of the big names in the Bangladesh market today and intend to acquire many prestigious accounts in the days to come”, said Mirza Borhan Kabir, Chief Technology Officer of AWBBL.
