Arrest warrant issued against Khaleda Zia, two others

DHAKA, Feb. 25 (NsNewsWire) —  The Special Judge Court-3 of Md Abu Ahmed Jomadar Wednesday scrapped bails for ex-Prime MinisterKhaleda Zia and two others in two graft cases.

Zainul Abedin Meshbah, a counsel for Khaleda, told journalists that Khaleda Zia, , also chairperson of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), could not appear before the court for security reasons.

The two accused are former BNP lawmaker Kazi Saleemul Haq and businessman Sharfuddin Ahmed.
