Abul Hossain honoured with CIP award

Abul Hossain, a distinguished entrepreneur and global leader, has been recognized as a Commercially Important Person (CIP-NRB) in acknowledgment of his exceptional contributions to Bangladesh’s economy, said a press release on Dec. 18. As the President and CEO of Fazila Group, Abul Hossain has led the organization to international prominence while simultaneously fostering diplomatic and economic ties between nations.

In addition to his leadership at Fazila Group, Abul Hossain serves as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Uganda in Bangladesh, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Suriname, and President of Diplomacy for World Peace (DWP), a global organization dedicated to fostering international harmony and cooperation.

The prestigious honor was presented at a ceremony held at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka, commemorating International Migrants Day and National Expatriates Day 2024. The event featured Chief Guest Dr. Asif Nazrul, Advisor to the Ministry of Law and Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment, and Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, Advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Local Government, as the Special Guest.
