“A MoU has been signed between BWCCI and SS-gate to set up “Silk Road Chamber of Commerce”
DHAKA, Sept. 15 (NsNewsWire) — A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI) and The South-South Global Assets and Technology Exchange (SS-GATE), to set up “Silk Road Chamber of Commerce”.
The signing ceremony took place in Macao, on 26 August 2015. Selima Ahamd, President, BWCCI and Lin Jian, President of SS-Gate signed the MoU on be half of their respective sides.
The objective of this MoU is to jointly set up “Silk Road Chamber of Commerce”, aiming to share information, strengthen cooperation, jointly explore the international market, facilitate cross-border trade and enhance scientific and technological innovation capacity in developing countries.
SS-Gate is a virtual and physical platform where entrepreneurs in developing countries can interact and obtain needed technology, assets and finance in a secure environment. SS-Gate operates through a global network of participating organizations and institutional members.
BWCCI will support the Silk Road Chamber of Commerce by sharing mechanism and will positively promote the technological cooperation and communication among small and medium sized enterprises in developing countries, share research and development outcomes, and promote the transitional investments, localization of technology.
